Richards Waddell Racing joins BCM

RWR feel its time to take the next step with marketing & promotion of our speedcar team here in the west & Bear from BCM Motorsports Marketing can do just that for us.

This from RWR “Todd Waddell and Richards Waddell Racing are excited to be joining the family of race teams under the BCM banner for what is expected to be one of the biggest seasons in speedcar racing held at the Perth Motorplex in many years. As this year will be the 10th anniversary of Todd Waddell’s time behind the wheel of the RWR prepared race cars the timing is just right to join BCM Motorsports Marketing.”

Todd Waddell is one of Australia’s most gifted racers behind the wheel of a Speedcar or as recently seen even a wingless sprintcar, his Western Australian state title win in 06/07 in his second full time season behind the wheel of the #6 yellow & Black rocket is nothing short of sensational. To top this off with his 3 national junior sedan crowns means already coming into his 10th year of speedway his on track success is laps in front of the field already.

While in the USA with his mentor Joe Little just like the master & the apprentice they have travelled throughout the USA racetracks searching for the extra experience that will help him aim to become number 1 on the high banks of the Perth Motorplex in 07/08.

With the Magic Man 34 & Australian Speedcar Title both on his home track this year Todd needs to be on top of his game and up to date with the current technology available to him while travelling in the USA.

Todd had this to say after his Belleville Nationals experience. "I can not believe the speeds these guys get to around this track, it is incredible to witness such a great event and i am sure this won't be the last time i see this close up. I want to compete in events like this for the experience, it's awesome"

RWR is looking forward to a big season concentrating their efforts on events staged at the Kwinana Beach venue, all of this years biggest races are in Perth & bottom line Todd runs well there and with the addition of a new powerplant under the hood he is aiming for big finishes in the Figs race, Australian Title & defending his state crown.
