Todd @ Mchappy Day 2006

Hundreds of WA celebrities went behind the counter at McDonald’s restaurants on McHappy Day, 18 November, 2006 to help raise $2 million dollars for RMHC to support initiatives such as the Ronald McDonald Learning Program, Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Retreats.
Throughout the day, $1 from the sale of every Big Mac and profits from every $2 red wristband went directly to RMHC.
McHappy Day is the largest annual fundraising activity for RMHC, which supports programs throughout Australia that help seriously ill children live happier, healthier lives. All costs associated with McHappy Day are funded by McDonald's restaurants, so 100 cents in every dollar raised is used to benefit sick children.

Message from Toddd…..
I was very pleased to volenteer some time at the McDonalds Resturant in Armadale. On my arrival I was made to feel very welcome by all the staff especially the McHappy Day coordinator and Manager Ms Hannah Townson and Franchise owner Mr Glenn Baker.
I was put straight to work in drive through and gained an immediate appreciation for the hard work and concentration needed in that position.
During the day I also handed out and signed some of my speedway posters for the resturant customers and had some photos taken with the McHappy Day kids and the staff of the Armadale McDonals store.
It was great too see so many smiling faces and was it an absolute privalige to be apart of such a great cause.
All in all it was a terrific day and I will definitely be putting up the hand again next year to help out for McHappy Day.
